Joyner is an award-winning illustrator turned painter who is best known for his robots and donuts. Joyner thrives in bringing these 1950s Japanese export to life without losing their charm. In his fictional world the donuts are the fabled nemesis of the robots. Joyner's imagination permeates his work depicting retro futurism with mechanical men and women joining the robots and donuts in outlandish and impossible settings. Joyner received his degree from the Academy of Art Academy San Francisco.
